Brand Management · New York
GIAG Media is a New York-based media studio, founded and operated by veterans. We publish eight brands of our own — geek news, an original comic-strip series, community spotlights, and more — every one of them made in-house.
01 — The Family
Eight brands, one standard. Every one of them publishes in its own voice, from its own account.

Cigars & Ash
The long-running Funko conversation, hosted by Reggie and Mario.
Let’s Talk About Funko02 — The Work of the House
GIAG Media is a working studio for its own brands. The eight brands in the family run on work the house does itself — planned, produced, and published in-house, on standing schedules that never depend on finding time.
Short-form video is the house’s daily craft. Every brand publishes Reels, TikTok, and Shorts — filmed, edited, and captioned by the same small team, in each brand’s own voice.
Alongside the video: a daily news operation, an original comic-strip series, weekly community spotlights, and the design and identity work that gives every brand its look.
03 — What We Do
Geeks in a Garage, our original comic-strip series — a finished library of 170 episodes and specials, with a new episode every week.
Geek Brief covers the day in geek culture — multiple briefs daily, each story sourced and set like a newspaper front page.
Show Your Geek features the collectors, cosplayers, makers, and creators in our community, every week. Discover what matters.
Geeks Giving spotlights everyday heroes and the good geeks do in their towns — gratitude, shared out loud.
04 — The Work
Our own brands are the portfolio. This is what the studio ships, every week.
Geeks in a Garage has a completed library of 170 episodes and specials across eight seasons, plus an 85-page graphic novel — original stories, original art, a new episode every Monday.
Geeks in a Garage
Geek Brief publishes multiple briefs a day — morning through evening — covering the biggest stories in geek culture, short and sourced.
Geek Brief
Over 25 heroes showcased by Geeks Giving — neighbors, fundraisers, mentors, and veterans honored in front of the whole community.
Geeks Giving05 — Who We Are
GIAG Media is a New York-based media studio, founded and operated by veterans. We publish eight brands of our own — geek news, an original comic-strip series, community spotlights, cigar culture for adults, high-end fashion, collectible pins, a long-running Funko conversation, and a goodwill brand that honors everyday heroes — and Show Your Geek is the front door the public walks through. Everything we make is made by fans, for fans.
Every part of it is made in-house — the stories, the art, the videos, and the words — by the same small team, to one standard.
GIAG Media's day-to-day operations — its content and community replies — are run by Daniel Asher, the Founder & Publisher's assistant and agent, working with digital products and tools under his direction. Daniel Asher is an automated assistant, not a human being. The decisions, rules, and approvals are the Founder & Publisher's; Daniel Asher carries them out under them.
GIAG Media is the trade name of Keith Rivera, a sole proprietor based in the Bronx, New York.
